Background

I was born and raised in Morgan County, West Virginia. Upon graduation, I enlisted and proudly served in the United States Navy. After my enlistment, I returned home and began a 26-year career in corrections as a correctional officer and case manager. While working for the government, I attended college full time and earned my bachelor’s degree. I now live on a farm in Maryland with my beautiful wife and children.

In my free time, I enjoy being in the outdoors, mountain biking, martial arts, hunting, weight training and finding ways to further myself physically, mentally, and spiritually. Volunteering and being involved in church, scouts, youth activities and community are very important to me. I have also had the privilege and honor to be involved in programs that feed the less fortunate.

To me, this tri-state region is a very special place filled with all kinds of unique features that vary from state to state. I have spent most of my life exploring these areas and can be a great asset navigating what this unique and beautiful landscape has to offer. That is why I am licensed in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
